What fails on it
- Sensor out of true The oven says it has reached the set number and the food disagrees, bake after bake, even after a full preheat.
- Fan grinding or stalling A new scraping or humming on convection, or a fan that starts and then gives up part way through.
- Door sagging at one corner One side of the door closes late or sits proud, and the cabinet above feels warmer than it should.
- Lock that will not let go The door stays latched long after a self-clean has cooled. Leave it and call; never force the handle.
Why the sensor comes first
An SO30PM that bakes cold is checked against a separate probe before anything else, because a drifted sensor costs less to put right and turns up far more often than a failed control. If the probe and the display agree, the search moves on to the fan and the door.
The door on a single oven
A single oven’s door does all the sealing on its own, so a hinge that has lost its tension or a gasket that has flattened shows up quickly: longer preheats, uneven browning near the front, warmth on the cabinet face above. Both are door-band repairs, priced before the door comes off.

- Read the plate low on the left of the frame with the door open. SO30PM/S/PH is the 2015 to 2023 oven; SO3050PM/S/P is the model that replaced it in 2023. They look alike from the front, and parts are ordered by the exact line, so copy every character.
